So far this hasn't been a good experience. I have other crkt products and am mostly very happy with them. This time however right out of the box the Lawks locking lever wouldn't budge. Extreme force with my thumb would move it manually, but it wouldn't lock automatically. So with a call to customer service and additional money to ship it back, they will send me a replacement for the defective unit. The knife seems to be put togeather well and will be great for a day carrier when it works as described. When the new one is back I'll follow up on its operation. As stated on the description, this is a plastic scale and is prone to cracks. I saw a small one int eh one I am sending back. If this bothers you, order a different model. If you want a bulletproof backup tool. Try the crawford Trimuph folder. Large and in charge seems to have been made for this knife. I love everything about it.
