I shot my friends new pellet rifle ] Gamo Whisper[ starting at 50 feet. We decided to move to 100 yards with a finder.. I was hitting a plastic coffee can lid, not all in groupping, but hitting it.. You might want to take off your covers before looking through the scope...

First off.....''DITTO'' on the ''Nut resting on the Stock''! Secondly....What kind of pellets are you using? K-Mart? Walmart? Ace Hardware Clearance items? Try groupings of ''Gammo Match-Grade'' Pellets. We''re not talking ''Any Old Pellet Will Do'' when trying to get a solid grouping. There has to be a CONSTANT in the way of pellet weight and it''s dynamics. You take 15 K-Mart & 15 Walmart pellets and probably find there isn''t 2 out of the 30 that even come close!

I just had to laugh at the last review I read regarding going through 15 different pellets to be able to shoot a decent grouping. If one cannot shoot within a two-inch group at 25 yards with the Gamo V Hunter, then they should not blame the gun, but the nut resting against stock!
