The Kershaw blade is made of premium AUS 6A Stainless-Steel, which comes in handy when rust can be a problem. For extra durability, the blade is flat ground to Kershaw's famous, "shaving sharp" edge. The blade opens manually as the you push on the thumb stud and rotates the blade into position. A frame lock holds the Kershaw Vapor's blade in place to prevent unwelcome cuts.
