Glock 30
by: Mike
I traded my glock 23 in and got this 30 because it felt more comfortable in my hands because of its fatness! It is extremely accurate out the box. I shot from 5-10 yards and it all hit the center of the bullseye with 1" grouping and about 2 seconds per shot. At 20 yards I shot about 10 rounds 3-5" outside the center groupings. Overall accuracy is very good. No FTF and never had a jam. Everywhere I go, my glock goes. I plan on buying the Glock 26 next. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE GLOCK FAN!! All my friends love it but the only thing they dont like about is that it doesnt have a manually safety, i always tell them keep one chambered in a kydex holster and strap it on as long as the kydex is blocking the trigger than you're good and when you pull your gun out you are ready to shoot. Other guns that have manually safety isn't really all that great, because if you keep one chambered with the safety on, the time it takes for you to flip the safety off can save your life!
Overall best pistol I have ever owned. Very accurate right out the box.

I own just a couple of guns, but the G30 is by far the best.
It has never misfired or failed on me. Here's one for the GLOCK 30 .45 ACP SF.

I traded a Colt Det. Spl. .38 and $150 for an old Glock 30. I liked it so much that I went back to the store and bought a new Glock 30SF. Now I am totally Glockterized! This gun goes everywhere I go. I do not even look at my 1911 any more. And my 9mm? Well, I don't even remember what model it is!

Glocks
by: Mike Holt
My model 30 arrived on a Monday, I had off duty qualification on Tuesday, out of the box I aced it with a perfect 100. I was in the first auto class in my old job way back in 1987, I was the only glock shooter a model 17 that day . I won the shootoff. I carry my 30 as my off duty. Last qualification we had cadets on the range, after the first run I was the only shooter. The .45 scared them. after shooting with 9mm, but they liked the biggers holes.
I made a few converts to the best round out there.
Stay Safe.

Glock Model 30

I swore for 15 years I would never own a black polymer ugly pistol.
5/years ago I purchased a clock 30 and changed my mind 100%
I have fired approx.2500 rounds through this gun with only 2/jams one was old old ammo and the other was limp wristed.
It was a real tack driver stock gun.
Two years ago I sent the gun to Bar-STOW and had a match barrel fitted. It will now shoot
with a custom 1911 I have had for 14/years.
In a rasom rest it held a 10shot group measuring 1.5" @50/yards!
Need I say anymore!

Glock 30 Pistol, 45ACP, 10rd, Semi-Auto, DAO, Compact Size, 3.78" barrel, Polymer Frame, Matte Finish, Fixed Sights, Right Hand
by: JM, Loyal Customer
This is another great pistol from Glock. It is heavy and long. This thing is wide (FAT). 2Lbs. heavy with no ammo. Add 10 rounds and man you can thow it at someone. I like the grip. It is very short bit Fat as all get out. If you add a Crimson Trace laser to it like I did you better have the hands of a basket ball player to grip the thing.
I shot 300 + rounds so far and not FTF...With the laser I hit bulls eyes all day.
Other than that I had to wait over three weeks for it to come it. Very slow but they answer the phone and help you so that is not bad.

I purchased my G30 to replace a G26 since I was loosing confidence in 9mm. I could not be happier. Since I use this weapon for concealed carry I do not feel that it is any more of a hinderance than my old 26 and am very reassured carrying a battle proven man-stopping round! Although they do sell grip extensions, I have never had to use one! The floorplate of the mags extend downward enough to ensure a good grip. I have put over 1200 rounds through it and never had so much as a hiccup in operation.
The only problem I can see is in locating a good tac light.

The only handgun I will trust my and my familys life to daily
by: Simpleman
I have owned my glock now for about 4 years and after 2 to 3 thousand rounds later, it has never malfunctioned or skipped a beat to this day. I personally am a big fan of the .45 acp round and I can't think of a better pistol chambered for it. In my opinion the G30 is very accurate, easy to control and place follow up shots with and is very concealable. I added the extended slide release and now it is perfect. Simply the best investment I've ever spent my hard earned money on. I call it my RHINO, cause it aint pretty by no means, but tougher than hell!

Tested my new G30SF today and really liked it. My other Glock is a G22, and I used it in my CCW class a few weeks ago. Well built, simple, and accurate. Easy to maintain, and easy to operate.

THE ULTIMATE IN AN ALL AROUND CARRY PIECE
by: "THE GLOCKSTER"
WELL FOLKS, I WAS NEVER A BIG FAN OF GLOCKS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS OF SHOOTING, AND THE FIRST GLOCK I BOUGHT WAS THE GLOCK 30. IT IS AS SIMPLE TO OPERATE AND CLEAN, AS IT IS TO SITE AND SHOOT. WHEN I TOOK MY CCW TEST, THE INSTRUCTOR ASKED ME "DO YOU HAVE AN ALARM ON YOUR HOUSE?, WITH THAT I REPLIED, "WHY DO YOU ASK?" HE SAID TO CALL THE ALARM COMPANY AND CANCEL YOUR SERVICE AND TO PUT MY TARGET ON MY GARAGE DOOR! I PUT 8 HOLES INSIDE OF EIGHT HOLES, PUTTING 2 ABOUT 1/4" AWAY FROM THE OTHER 8. HE LITERALLY HAD TO TAKE THE TARGET DOWN AND PLACE IT DOWN ON A FLAT SURFACE TO VERIFY THAT THE HOLES WERE INDEED THERE; AND YOU BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR THAT THEY WERE. I CARRY IT EVERY DAY, BOTH IN A BLACKHAWK PADDLE HOLSTER ON THE WAIST, AND WHEN I'M UP TO IT, I USUALLY WEAR MY SHOULDER RIG....NEVER CAN HAVE TOO MUCH FIRE POWER.
NOW WHEN YOU ARE REALLY WANTING TO HIDE AN EXCELLENT GLOCK, THE ANSWER IS THE GLOCK 39, 45GAP. THE GUN IS DEAD ON BALLS ACCURATE. YES THE GUN EVEN WITH PIERCE GRIP EXTENSIONS IS SMALL TO THE AVERAGE HAND, IF YOU BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO HOW TO SHOOT IT, YOU'LL BE ABLE TO PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. THE GUN IS DEFINITELY THE BEST BANG FOR THE SMALLEST OF SMALL SIZE WISE GUNS.
I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY YOUR GLOCKS AS I DO MINE, I'M UP TO 6 OF THEM NOW, AND GOING TO KEEP ON GOING UNTIL THE COWS COME HOME!!! HAVE FUN FOLKS AND ....PLEASE BE SAFE!

by: J.C.
THE ULTIMATE IN AN ALL AROUND FIREARM! THERE IS NO OTHER HANDGUN I WOULD RATHER CARRY; AND I'VE CARRIED QUITE A BIT IB THE PAST 20 YEARS. I WAS NEVER A GREAT FAN OF GLOCKS UNTIL MY PURCHASE WAS MADE. I NEVER TAKE IT OFF! I SLEEP WITH IT MORE THAN I SLEEP WITH MY WIFR....AND THAT'S THE TRUTH!

I would advise using some sort of hearing protection while using one, or buying a silencer, this weapon is defining.

Glock model 30

I bought this gun a few months ago from a friend who needed money. Its a great all around gun. Love competition shooting with it and it stays on my side everywhere I go. The compact design makes this a great gun for any shooter. Just be ready for the recoil.

I have carried an old Colt 1911 for a long time, until a friend told me about the Glock 30. After I bought the weapon, I have retiped the 1911. This is probably the best pistol on the market.

Glock 30
by: Sir Glockalot
Greetings and salutations, fellow Glocksters! I obtained my first Glock, a G19, in 1989. I carried in on duty and as my off duty concealed carry weapon at all times. I obtained a G30 in 1995, and have carried it religiously every since. I also obtained a G36 for my wife to carry concealed, and she loved it! All of these Glocks have been great shooters, with wonderful inherent accuracy and total reliability. I can't even estimate how many thousands of total rounds were fired through these Glocks, with no malfunctions whatsoever. When you are betting your life on a personal defense handgun in a life threatening situation, there is nothing better than a Glock!

The most dependable pistol for a CCW.
by: zack
I am a US soldier with 10th Mountain Division, I have owned this pistol for a few years now and its my primary pistol for my conceal carry. I have put around 3500 rounds through it so far and all type of ammo has been used. I have yet to have a single jam, or any function issues. I personally think it is the best pistol for conceal carry. It has a lot of power and low recoil for its size. I am glad I have never had to fired the weapon on some one but have pulled it out. Just the look on the mans face seeing the bore size of the weapon for its size was enough for him to lay down till police arrived.

Glock 30
by: by: Tim
I have owned many handguns from a Kimber Ultra Carry II Stainless to a 9mm HK and I have to say the last 1 1/2 years of owning my Glock 30, I have never been more confident in my weapon. On and off the range this weapon has had 0 failures and has seen well over 3000 rounds thru it. I had owned a 26 many years ago and never had a problem, but felt that the Kimber's and HK's were the ultimate. NOT TRUE. Glock has it perfected. If you are choosing a gun for concealement and 100% reliability (do not know any other reason for handguns of this size), there is no other choice

IDPA
by: Jim
I have been shooting the Glock 30 for many years, and I have to say, for the venerable .45, I woudn't choose any other concealable pistol. with the right-hand twist octagonal rifling, this pistol keeps me shooting zero's in IDPA fairly consistently. The only thing I don't like is the limited amount of performance parts for this model as compared to the others.

Glock 30
by: Bill
I have been in law enforcement for over 20 years and everyday, even off duty I carry a glock 30. This weapon is compact, easily concealable and performs beyond any expectations I may have. It is extremely easy to take care of and the polymer stands up to any body sweat or chemicals it make come in to contact with. A glock owner and customer for life
